Ayurvedic Facial Cleanser for Oily Kapha skin.
Experience balance with this naturally fragrant cleanser. By bathing your skin in this unique cleanser, you will find your skin's natural glow ~ your face will feel and appear less shiny, yet bright and fresh.
Oil based cleansers have been used for thousands of years to balance the skin and keep it looking young and healthy. Unfortunately, in the last few decades, this ancient knowledge got tossed away for a new marketing campaign touting "Oil Free" products. The bottom line is that oil is necessary for proper skin protection, balance, and functioning. Sometimes, however, the skin can become imbalanced and begin to produce a heavier oil than it should, resulting in dullness, clogged pores, or downright greasy skin. Using light, astringent, clarifying oils such as those in this cleanser will signal the face to stop over-production of naturally heavy oil and instead create a balanced, soft, moisturized feeling on the surface of the skin. It also has the added benefit of loosening and preventing the blackheads that often plague those with oily skin. The results? Simply Amazing!
Ayurvedic info: This product is best for kapha skin. The Sanskrit word Kapha translates as a combination of the two elements earth and water. When these elements are out of balance in the body it will manifest on the skin as excessive oiliness, blackheads, and non-inflamed acne.
Directions: Shake well before each use. Wet face + neck. Use a dime sized amount, adding water to make a creamy lather. Massage into skin, splash with water to rinse, pat dry. If exfoliating, follow with your Ajara Face + Body Scrub of choice.

Out of all the stuff I have tried, this is by far my favorite. I have pitta as my dominant dosha but I decided to try this cleanser anyway cause it seemed more suitable for my skin type. Couldn't be happier with it. It makes my skin really soft and it seems to have diminished the look of my blackheads.
