Ayurvedic Massage Oil for Pitta Body Types.
Ajara's Pitta pacifying body massage oil is made to cool, calm, nourish and soothe the senses while bringing pitta back into a natural state of balance.
Ayurvedic info: This product is best for Pitta constitutions. The Sanskrit word Pitta translates as a combination of the two elements fire and water. When these elements are out of balance it will manifest in the body as sensitivity, blotchy redness, dry patches, and a generally heated state of being. Oil massage is typically self-administered prior to a shower (usually after a dry exfoliation such as with a body brush or exfoliating gloves) so that the moist heat from the water helps the oil penetrate deep into the tissues. When practiced regularly this can reduce or eliminate the need for an after shower lotion.
Directions: Massage into skin before shower or bath. While bathing, use your favorite Ajara Face + Body Scrub to cleanse and exfoliate the skin.
