What to expect from the trainings:
At Ajara, we believe that thorough training is the first and most important step to offering these special techniques in your treatment setting. We want to make it easy to incorporate our trainings into your regular continuing education, which is why we have laid all of our trainings out for you. All you have to do is decide which treatments you would like to offer and we do the rest.
Therapists will receive
~thorough training in each service
~basic working knowledge of Ayurveda
~understanding of how to set the room for each treatment, including equipment, supplies, and clean up required
~progressive instruction on each step of the treatment
~a manual or protocol for future reference
~a certificate of completion for each service learned
~a chance to observe, practice and receive each treatment
~the opportunity to be monitored and evaluated in their progress
Each treatment requires different materials and equipment for training. Some spas may already have the equipment necessary; others may need to acquire some of the needed items. We will be happy to discuss the best ways to find these objects and materials, or to procure them for a fee. If Ajara products are required for a service such as the Ayurvedic Herbal Facial, students are offered a discount for purchasing their own products and materials when working with any of the above trainers (please request this discount code from your respective teacher).
